I am a survivor of cervical cancer for six years. I had glassy cell adenocarcinoma. It was May 31st 2005 when I was diagnosed. I had a full radical hysterectomy that June at Penn. Hospital at 8th and Sprue. The end of the year I found out that it came back big as a uterus. I had transfered to HUP. I had under gone Radiation 5 times a week and chemo once a week. Then had an inplant of radiation. I was done March of 2006. My mother died of colon cancer that July. July 21,2006 was when she died. Three weeks later my Dad's sister passed of liver cancer. The day of her service is when I found out the my cancer was back in my lyphnodes. I had to have chemo for 3 hours every 5 weeks. During that time I had got married. I wore a wig for my wedding. I was not able to have a honeymoon. I had three treatments at HUP then transfered to Fox Chase for the duration of my treatment. Then Janurary 2008 I had a lump in my groin. I had that removed at Vurta Voorhees, it was cancer. In 2010 it had come back above my intestine. I had one third of my intestine removed. I am in remission so far. I find out my annual CT scan today July 20, 2011. I am still a patient at Fox Chase. I also did have that honeymoon in Disney 2008 from Crossing the Finish line now known as For Pete Sake Take a Break.

After some bad news last year, and just before my 21st birthday, I was diagnosed with pre-cancer on my cervix. Thanks to my amazing doctor associated with Holy Redeemer hospital, he removed all of the pre-cancer cells, and all of the actual cervical cancer that came with it during my procedure. I'm a strong supporter since my mild case, and I am constantly trying to find a way to help Amy's Fund. Thank goodness for this fund, I'd feel so lost if it weren't here.

Thanks for putting my daughter's mind at ease. And assuming payment for my baboes test and procedures. Lost our job and insurance on July 27th and find out she needs test on 8/10/10 The fears of the test, maybe cancer and no insurance is much to much for my baby to face. Thanks again I will help in anyway I can your mission Linda :)
