About Amy... |
|
Amy was a goal oriented, successful, sweet person who focused her life on making life better for those around her. Rarely during the fight that took her life did she ask "why me?" but in the end she asked, "why does this disease have to be?" Throughout the last year, Amy vowed that once she beat her disease, she would organize a group to raise money to fight cervical cancer and make others aware of all concepts of the disease. Unfortunately, that was not to be. In Amy's memory, we are organizing a foundation that will hold Amy's ideals in check while raising money for research and awareness education of cervical cancer. Amy's goal was to prevent this from happening to anyone but if she were able to save ONE person, she would have counted that as a success. Proceeds will go toward advancing the Care of Cervical Cancer at Amy touched so many people with her sweet smile. Please consider your donation and participation as a way to make someone else smile because your generosity may just save that ONE life that Amy hoped to save! |
"Amy's Fund" is a non-profit foundation formed to promote awareness and education regarding a serious disease called Cervical Cancer, in loving memory for Amy Lynn Kligge Vengels. Amy's mother, Denise Kligge, and Amy's sister, Kelly-Ann Kligge, established the fund in January 2005.
"Amy's Fund" has one main objective - to increase Cervical Cancer awareness and research. Money raised at "Amy's Fund" events will go towards the Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer Hospital, for care of cervical cancer patients and their families. "Amy's Fund" hopes that their efforts may one day result in effective treatment of this disease, and ultimately, a cure.
Money donated from Amy's Fund, Inc. to date!
Please help us reach our goal!
